Wow. That was way sexist. It was a long time ago though.

Like on top of the Empire State Building, there's a ladder and a door. The chick could've just gone down there to escape, but instead she just sits on top waiting for a dude to save her. Same when she's on top of the cliff with King Kong. When Kong turns around, she could've tried to escape then. But that would be too proactive I guess. She has to wait for the dude to come get her.
