Ok, I know this will inevitably turn into a debate, but I'm going to pretend I don't know that so that I can ask these questions. If possible, PLEASE try and stay as neutral as possible here and just answer the questions for me, ok? And try not to attack people based on their answers. I'm going to do the same.. I REALLY am serious in asking these questions, ok? I'm seriously not poking fun. I'd like this to be as scientific as possible. The questions are based on statements I've seen online and on the news in the last few months.1.) Would you identify yourself as: a.) Christian b.) Other faith, but religious c.) Atheist d.) Agnostic e.) Other (please describe)2.) Do you believe there is a "war" being waged against Christmas?3.) If yes, do you think this "war" is being waged by a.) The secular left b.) The liberal media c.) George Soros d.) Commercial Interests e.) all of the above f.) other (please describe)4.) Are you offended by the phrase "happy holidays?" If so, why?5.) What does "happy holidays" mean to you? a.) A secular replacement for "merry christmas," used by those who are trying to undermine Christianity's influence b.) Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, Happy Channukah c.) Politically correct way of greeting people of whose faiths you're unsure6.) Do you watch tv "pundit" shows such as O'reilly, Hannity and Colmes, Hardball, etc? Which ones do you enjoy the most? 1.) Would you identify yourself as:a.) Christian (non-denominational)2.) Do you believe there is a "war" being waged against Christmas? Not really. More like christmas has lost its meaning with many people.3.) N/A4.) Are you offended by the phrase "happy holidays?" If so, why?Haha, not really, but I'd rather that people I know (who know me) say "Merry Christmas!" to me instead of "Happy Holidays!" If you know what they celebrate, at least wish them a happy chanukkah, a happy kwanza (who celebrates this? moving along), or a merry christmas. Save "Happy Holidays" for the people that you don't know.5.) What does "happy holidays" mean to you?I associate "happy holidays" more with the commercial side of the season. Used as a neutral phrase to avoid angering people who get offended by being wished the wrong holiday. It always seems to be used more with the sales and advertisements during Christmas season, so I associate it with the commercial side of the season (not to be redundant, just explaining the view).(P.S. This should go under nonexistant option d.) other)6.) Do you watch tv "pundit" shows such as O'reilly, Hannity and Colmes, Hardball, etc? Which ones do you enjoy the most? How often do you watch them? No. They all suck.
