i JUST now saw thatthats awful. i was so fucking scared when i heard they halted production, but thank god its not permanent. sucks though. they should take a week off.

i don't mean to sound like a jerk about this -- but i don't understand the significance? he was a receptionist? i know a life is a life, but wouldn't it be more significant if it was someone who was visible on-screen once in a while?-ZiP!-

it would prolly be more "significant" to us viewers if he was on visible on the show...but in my office the receptionist is the hub. they have the most contact with everyone in the office, so it probably affected the Daily Show greater than we know.

Exactly. He was the dude everyone sees on the way in early in the morning, and he probably stayed late at night getting people food and coffee and shit, just to hang around and watch the magic.
