Ok I have an LCD from a laptop that has some issues but the screen is in good working condition. Is it possible to use that LCD on another laptop motherboard? ie. another make/model besides its native motherboard. The current laptop is a Toshiba 2540CDS. I'm not wanting to use it with a PC motherboard but a laptop motherboard.

it might work if it's the same resolution and you use your inverter

Hmmm ok.. I kind of figured it was a lost cause.. But I might look into the inverter thing.. Have any leads on where to start looking for them?

Ok I found thishttp://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/Toshiba,Satellite,2540CDS,P000220160,CompatibleModelList.aspxNext question is, you connect the LCD to the inverter and then you connect it to the new laptop motherboard?
