the only time I have to deal with sales is when I'm checking the specs of something in use (typically antennas)...never had an issue (mainly b/c I can get 95% of my needed info from their websites)[Edited on December 12, 2005 at 5:05 PM. Reason : .]

dealing with sales is a two fold frustration. internally, you have have to deal with your own sales guys over promising your own product, then you get blamed for the under delivering. this has by far been my biggest frustration. externally, you have to deal with some sales reps not knowing enough technical info on his widgets, but yet maintains that they will for certain beyond a shadow of a doubt fit your application. but its not all bad, once you establish a relationship with your vendor and get a good sales rep, they can become quite the resource.
