we went about vietnam all wrong...deff should have stuck with bombing the fuck out of them and then sent troops in


plus vietnam had the advantage of being a jungle/mountainous area and americans were not ready for that, iraq is desert, more wide open, armored units do not do well in jungles....

technology is way better than back then....

the only similarities i could find is foreign soil and not knowing who your enemy is....

Who was forcing Democracy on the South Vietnamize? Looked a lot like a puppet dictatorship to me. Understandably so, of course, since the place was under contant attack from the north.

Even so, it wasn't the Citizen of S.V. that were members of the insergency, but northern infiltrators.
