where is a good place in raleigh to get a quality fried fish plate? not seafood as in the uppity-scale fine dining type of place, but somewhere to go get a fried flounder plate or something along those lines

i need help

i will take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

I can't help you with Raleigh, but Fishmongers in Durham is the place if you're looking for good cheap seafood. You might want to try the seafood place at the farmers market down off centenial parkway.

Farmer's Market Seafood Restaurant.

Kinda odd/short hours though.

i just got back from Capt. Stanley's and it was pretty good... its on wilmington st (Hwy 70) next to Bojangles on the left, just before you get to Tryon Rd.

Most definitely the Farmer's Market. It's so good and they give you a ton of food and it's cheap. I always split a plate with someone. And it is not uppity at all...you sit on picnic tables and eat out of styrofoam (sp?) containers!

Most definitely the Farmer's Market. It's so good and they give you a ton of food and it's cheap. I always split a plate with someone. And it is not uppity at all...you sit on picnic tables and eat out of styrofoam (sp?) containers!
