I could use a little help.

I am still running ME I just got a bootdisk from bootdisk.com and I was going to reformat...I extracted all the files to the floppy as suggested and i still get

I am open for ideas, I need to get that old thing up and running by spring when I have to return my gf's laptop.

No, no funny noises. It was out of use for a couple of months and now that I want to use it again it frooze up a few times and wont boot up into windows. I had just reinstalled ME and was going through the 2 million updates but then...
