they will be in town for the team banquet and will probably stop by the basketball game.

show them some love when they come through Reynolds. there are several big names in this group including a few bigtime WR and DBs. also a couple of OL. the 5star RB will be visiting, but i hear he is prep school bound... so we're probably trying to recruit him for Hargrave.

yeah, but the topic is a lot different and the beef of that thread is talking about the linemen we have.

but whatever. recruits choose nc state because of how they feel at home here and because of the crowd/student fan support. just cheer for them or something when they walk in reynolds, it will take about 20 seconds of your time but may bring them in here to help us win some football games.

are yall serious?

itll be a group of guys walking in with chuck and the football staff, probably accompanied by the Stately Ladies... they don't need to announce them, hell... they may not even come to the game.

im not asking for some big commotion, just say whats up or get a little cheer together if you happen to see them.

its not the end of the damn world to do something positive for the football team even though its a basketball game against appalachian freakin state.

contradict yourself much lately?

I'm not saying they wouldn't like it and all. But I really doubt that some random guy saying whats up is gonna change their mind on where they want to play ball. And most people are gonna be there to watch a basketball game, not keep lookout for Chuck and his boys.

last year at reynolds during a timeout chuck came in by himself and the place erupted.... so imagine that it will be the same this year.... Noone has to tell the recruits that it wasn't for them

(And FWIW. McCoy will probably play slot should he end up here... not RB)

"Big commotion" is different than "a little cheer". I meant that im not asking for a freakin coliseum-wide cheer, but apparently you dont get what im saying at all so whatever.

You can enjoy/watch a basketball game and still be aware of what our football program is trying to do. One of the only reasons Chuck would bring his recruits to the basketball game is to show them a little about what the student support is like. If he wanted to show them Reynolds, he would show them Fri. afternoon (which he may do, I dont know what his plans are.. nor do I really care) and if he wanted them to see a basketball game, he wouldn't necessarily bring them in town for App. State.

bamancsu, thanks for the support lol... recruits do love the attention. Plus, there are several big name guys visiting, just get off your ass for 10 seconds if the time is right. I'm not asking for you to ignore a dunk or a 3ptr or something, but IF Chuck brings them in at a timeout or something... do the right thing and show them what they came to see.

One of JC Neal's top reasons for coming here was when he made his visit last football season, during the Walk of Champions, the crowd started a "We Want You" chant... he said that alone was one of the top reasons he chose NCSU... because of the student/fan SUPPORT.
