I watched. May did well, at least. I don't understand how a professional team can keep on losing games it should win.

maybe they're just going for the draft pick

i agolopize for the other thread, i can't see for looking sometimesbut it sure as hell is frustratingi was at the coliseum once when kobe hit a fadeaway buzzer shot to beat the bugs by one, froze me to my seat for about ten minutes after the game, of course the half of the building that was wearing purple and gold screaming their lungs out afterwards didn't ease the pain much[Edited on December 5, 2005 at 12:09 AM. my first hornets game was back in 93/94 and charles barkley beat us on a 3 pointer with 5 sec left 108-105

my first game was against the pistons, i think isiah dropped about 30 on us - the day they left town ranks as the second saddest day of my sports life after feb. 1, 2004george shinn ranks slightly below hitler as one of my most hated people ever to walk this planetand ray wooldridge too

I'm still very impressed with the direction of the franchise. They are by far exceeding everyones expectations with this roster. If they can just keep this attitude while they continue to add talent they could be a strong franchise for years to come...Our cap space is going to be off the chain this year, unfortunately there won't be much talent available.

^ for once, i agree with you

i went to a Hornets/Mavericks game where Dirk Nowitzki hit the game winning 3 pointerit was so anticlimatic because he shot it from the corner closest to the entrance to the locker roomsso after he shot it and saw it go in and the buzzer went off, he just made a b-line for the locker roomsno celebration or anything

this really has nothing to do with the rest of the thread, but since we're reminiscing about the hornets, the night that kind of sealed the deal for them leaving town was game six against the bucks in the second round of the playoffs, im thinking it was maybe 2000 - anyways, the place is packed, sold out for probably the first time all season, the atmosphere was electric the whole series from sweeping the heat in the first round...we were up double digits in the fourth, the place could smell the eastern conference finals, and then somehow, we blow the lead to glenn robinson, ray allen, sam cassell and co. the bugs went on to lose game seven in milwaukee, and it was all dark days after that in charlotte where that team was concerned

I was at the game in March when Kobe hit the game winner with about .9 left on the clock. That was another game that the Bobcats led late (by 12 with 6 minutes left). I know they're young, but they have to learn how to finish a game.

80% FT shooter misses both at the line. that hurts. i'll bet brevin cried himself to sleep last night.

not gonna be good at finishing games without a go-to guy.In the NBA you need a guy who can get the call and get to the line at the end of the game. Reputation is important.RIght now we still dont really have anyone that can create their own shot consistently, and that makes it tough to score in the last 5 mintues when the defense clamps down and it becomes a half court game.
