Greenville Rose is going to beat the hell out of you guys in the 4A State Football Championships..Im glad they moved it to Carter Finley..so I dont have to go to Kenan Stadium to watch my old high school lay the smacketh downeth. I read somewhere that Grimsley is only in the championship game b/c the team they were scheduled to play was disqulaified because they played an academically inelgible player...does anyone know if this is true or not? regardless..GO RAMPANTS!

Shoulda been a rematch of 2 years ago minus Andre Brown. Probably woulda been a good game this time around.

Tickets to the game are between 7 and 10. They were 7 at the semis. I think Rose needs to offer frequent championship game discounts, I've been to the last two games, and will be there this weekend!

for fairness . . . its just like college having Division 1A, 1AA, 2, 3. Granted a 1AA team might play an 1A team here and there, but most of their games are against "like opponents".

Ok, but there are around 330 schools in NCHSAA. That's around 40 per championship. There are 117 I-A schools. Having eight champions just makes 'no' champions.

well...there is a difference between liking it and going nuts over it.
I like going to the games and I like supporting my old school, however I don't trash talk about it or fly window flags or anything.

I think enjoying going to the games and supporting your old school is perfectly fine.
