just pledged my request for LTR's in the new Red Zone, they said they are halfway sold out of them. sounds good for those seats being full next fall!
12/1/2005 1:19:30 PM
I've pledged as well, it should be pretty decent seats I think!
12/1/2005 1:20:12 PM
huh
12/1/2005 1:20:33 PM
I got my pamphlet in the mail the other day but havent looked at it, although the money may be tight. If anyone wants to go in on a pair of tickets let me know.
12/1/2005 1:26:13 PM
what are they charging for the seats and the LTR?
12/1/2005 1:42:56 PM
LTR's are $2500 per seat over 10 years, plus you have to buy season tickets each year for those seats and parking passes. that's in addition to at least a $300/year membership level in the WPChttp://www.wolfpackclub.com/Default.aspx?tabid=130[Edited on December 1, 2005 at 1:44 PM. Reason : ]

Is the North Endzone going to be a little higher than the South endzone? I thought they hadnt decided yet
12/1/2005 2:01:39 PM
break it down$2500/10 years = $250Wolfpack Club = $300Season Tickets ~ $200 (is a praking pass more?)-----------------------Grand Total ~$750/year for ten years, then it's only $500/year.THIS FOR A TEAM THAT IS A COMBINED 11-11 THE PAST TWO YEARS?
12/1/2005 2:10:39 PM
Yeah I know. I don't see how we are selling any. Must be because of our great bowl we are gonna get.
12/1/2005 2:13:17 PM
I got on the waiting list early in the Spring, but haven't heard anything. Then again, I don't have a whole lot of faith in the Wolfpack Club's record-keeping/membership info.
12/1/2005 2:14:00 PM
im going to do this in a couple weeks with some friends
12/1/2005 2:22:05 PM
^^^^ Season tickets are way more than $200closer to $350
12/1/2005 2:35:29 PM
The WPC told me today when I called that they have just put a new database system in place, and that in mid-january they will be making contact to come in and pick out your seats. Priority is based on rank as of Dec 31. And seeing as both your membership and LTR's are 80% tax deductible and it entitles you to have seats for football, it's a win-win. And it's not necessarily about records, but rather enjoying a saturday or thursday or sunday with family and friends. I mean shoot I go to 4 or 5 races a year and my driver has never won a race I've gone to. Couple that with me not have attending a state game when I wasn't working since 1997, and I for one cannot wait to take in a game in my own stadium seat that I will have for the rest of my life. But hey it's only me.
12/1/2005 2:39:19 PM
Yeah, I was thinking about it, but they are WAY overpriced, especially since half the weeks I will be going back to Knoxville for UT games
12/1/2005 2:46:03 PM
Yeh I mean why support your school when we have had two lackluster seasons. I mean seriously fuck selling tickets and raising money to improve our stadium/facilities.
12/1/2005 2:48:03 PM
not that fucking much, thats retarded
12/1/2005 2:48:55 PM
The right price to set for LTR's, season tickets, etc., is the cutoff at which people are willing to pay; the season and how the team is currently doing over a 1-2 or even 5 year stretch is totally irrelevant. I suggest people that think they are too expensive simply don't buy, and people that are in the middle of your committment thinking you're paying to much need to back out, and cut your losses while you can and free up your LTR's for the willing. I remember at the Ohio State game the ushers, who were completley knowledgeable about Buckeye past and present football, told me that to want to sit in between the 30's was a 2 grand down payment to get on the waiting list, which was like 3-5 years I believe, and then you had to start forking over real money to actually get the rights to seats. Also, I've read some very high prices at places like Alabama, OU, etc. I read somewhere that Red river shootout price was $80 face value. That's double all our home games cept UNC I believe.
12/1/2005 4:16:44 PM
I've had LTR's for several years now - great $$ spent. Especially since it's mostly deductible..congrats shevais & coppertop
12/1/2005 4:32:37 PM
Athletics will be able to charge whatever they want for season tickets once everyone has invested in their lifetime rights.
12/1/2005 4:34:38 PM
Glad I got in when I did. 1500/LTR. Season tickets DO NOT include a parking pass. IIRC season tickets were about $250 this year. You can also use young alumni credit after graduation for WPC dues.
12/1/2005 7:19:30 PM
seriously, if you can get in, do it. not going in at goalline drive cost me $1000.
12/1/2005 7:24:37 PM
12/1/2005 9:11:33 PM
NPV makes no sense here because you can't use invested money to buy fucking tickets.
12/1/2005 10:51:28 PM
signed my life away for 4 this morning
1/31/2006 10:21:32 AM
Anybody have any updates on how they are selling?
1/31/2006 10:25:26 AM
1/31/2006 10:26:58 AM
the big board of reserved seats was only about 1/8th 1/7th full this morningi think i had a relatively early selection though
1/31/2006 10:27:07 AM
i just realized that I never responded because I spent most of Jan in South America.A NPV makes perfect sense. You know $1 today is going to be worth more than $1 ten years from now. So by doing a NPV, you discount the future cost of the tickets to get what the cost is in today's dollars. So if you think the rate of inflation will be 10% over 10 years, then the $750 a year in 10 years will actually be just $675, thus lowering the actual cost in terms of today's dollars. Of course, this can be countered by the WPC raising the minimum level above $300 or season tickets going up in price.edit: no shit, sherlock, that's what I'm saying...the actual cost in 2006 dollars is less than what the pricetag is[Edited on January 31, 2006 at 10:30 AM. 1/31/2006 1:46:18 PM
^^ 4 tickets huh? Hello new best friend
1/31/2006 1:48:37 PM
Season Tickets will be a little more this year with more home games....we have 7 right?7 @ ~$35ea = $245 plus parking $75+so 2 LTRs would be(2500*2)/10 [LTRs] + 300 [WPC] + 245*2 [Tix] + 75 [park] = $1360 per year then add $60 if you want a seat cusion for the woman, any away tickets, etc., etc.
1/31/2006 1:51:04 PM
^^ yupand my good friend got the 4 seats right in front of mine, so we have 8 total

1/31/2006 2:38:28 PM
Explain to me how lifetime rights last for ten years.Please.
1/31/2006 2:46:01 PM
you can pay for them over the span on 10 yearsbut you get to keep them until you die (or if you are married both you and your spouse die)
1/31/2006 2:47:44 PM
Ah, got it. I thought it was $2500 every ten years.
1/31/2006 2:49:54 PM
good god no!! and with 80% matching gifts ours will be paid off in 5.2 years!!!Section 219 D 4-5 (aisle) we went on 26 Jan the 0919 appt. there were LOADS of seats still left, I think they started on the 23rd. There were even 2nd row seats left when we went
1/31/2006 4:22:52 PM
I had my appointment today, didn't go though. I decided not to get them this year since I bought a house.
1/31/2006 4:37:24 PM
ive had mine for 3 seasons now....very happy i did it...mine cost $1000/seat you cant go into it with the mindset about how many games we've won or lost....there will always be down seasons and up seasons. i went into it knowing that i want to go tailgate and watch wolfpack football for as long as i can. LTR's guarantee me that ability. GO PACK!!!section 18 row R
1/31/2006 6:37:02 PM
what a dumbass.how much are you paying for win? like $2000+
1/31/2006 6:54:40 PM
I'm with you dabird, the program is on the rise, especially compared to the mike o'cain years which I had during college, and plus, the stadium is a work of art with all the improvements. Getting LTR for me was about being able to enjoy Wolfpack football for years to come, and always knowing that no matter I will be tailgating, going to games and supporting the team that I love.
1/31/2006 8:53:50 PM
id love to get some, but i dont know if ill be in or near raleigh for ten years, much less 2
