I think it can be welded back.
12/1/2005 11:46:52 AM
I'm gonna say that wrist pin just floating around in the 3rd cyl without a piston on top is gonna hurt compression
12/1/2005 11:47:41 AM
slap some new bearings in it and let it roll, and change the damn oil next time
12/1/2005 11:49:19 AM

12/1/2005 11:50:30 AM

12/1/2005 11:50:51 AM
HOLY SHIT-BALLS!! That sucks man, is this yours or something you're working on, or just something online you found that some other poor soul is dealing with?

12/1/2005 2:13:56 PM
you just need to put a little slick50 in there
12/1/2005 2:27:41 PM
^Wheres the fuel comming from and hows it getting into the chambers? And the man made air intake? In the initial pics.. how long does it take you to figure out something isnt right with your engine? Jeez looks like something gave and the driver thought...oh must have just hit a pot hole and.. toodleloo dippidi doo da...
12/1/2005 2:28:20 PM
In that last pic.. is the guy running the entire fuel/air system in the reverse direction?
12/1/2005 2:29:42 PM
holy fuckin shitballs
12/1/2005 2:38:26 PM
yeah that is a reverse flow induction on there, Ive talked to the guy who built it several times on hot rods message boards. He's a cool guy and smart as hell to. He is also the guy who came up with the Variable engine timing that honda uses. He came up with that back in the sixties, but somehow he lost the copyright on it, and HOnda got it, and made shit tonsIll see if i can find his website

12/1/2005 2:40:23 PM
that'll buff right out
12/1/2005 2:43:17 PM
^^that's what it looks like. But that wouldn't be too hard, would it? Just change the chain that drives the cams to be off 180 degrees or so.
12/1/2005 2:43:32 PM
not sure if this is correct, but it is what i could find.
12/1/2005 2:49:59 PM
12/1/2005 3:05:44 PM
i still have a username on probetalk
12/1/2005 3:30:31 PM
^^ i think he asked before he realized the intake/exhaust manifold locations are switched around..
12/1/2005 3:44:30 PM
The only thing I see wrong in the first pic is that you probably don't want to leave that screw driver sitting there when you puts the heads back on, it might rattle or something.
12/1/2005 4:11:56 PM
12/1/2005 4:37:30 PM
i think the guy had to get a cam made up with the lobes in opposite locations, and he had to do something to the headsThe carbs are from old honda motorcycles, and there is NO fuel pumpand yes that is a magneto
12/1/2005 4:44:36 PM
duct tape and you are good to go
12/1/2005 6:09:36 PM
v-attack niggas
12/1/2005 6:42:18 PM
12/2/2005 2:10:29 PM
If the guy is so freakin smart why'd he use an sbc which has heads where the exhaust valve/intake difference is HUGE.
