Actually, our coaching staff supposedly loves this guy and he was one of our major targets at LB(Aside from people like Spikes, of course). Stars are crap... they're based too much on size and what school they played for. An offer list is much much more telling.

He's got offers from some pretty good programs... notably, Iowa, who always has some nasty LB's.

Offer list includes: NC State, Ole Miss, Iowa, Iowa State, Syracuse, Rutgers and Colorado State
Strong Interest from FSU, Miami, and Auburn

According to the gurus, the only reason this kid isn't a top 15 LBer is becuase he's 5'-10". He's fast as can be and has a good motor.... many a comparison to Stephen Tulloch has been made. Tulloch was also a two star "sleeper". Dont even get me started on Dantonio Burnette... who I believe was also 5'-10". Ware will be backing up Tulloch at the Weakside

I've also been hearing great things about Avery Vogt (was in last year's class). He was another undersized 2* guy, but I hear he's looking really really good in practice

sounds like lubischer (sp?) might run with the pack as well, nice little pipeline at this Gibbons school (Greco is from there as well) in Ft. Liquordale!

^Speaking of someone we love. Our coaches love Lubischer as a TE.... and recently they've found some good ones

^^Next to Hoyte, right?

I hear Ollie pop brings the thunda . He blew the socks off of Barrington Edwards

FWIW: Grades are an issue with Ware. He's close, but hasn't got qualifying scores yet

Hoyte is supposed to be the most power hitting guy we have, they say Morgan straight up shocks you though because of his frame and how small he appears...said when u get hit by him it stings...everytime

i remember that one game we got a personal foul on a kickoff or punt return cuz he blocked the guy and hit him so hard, chuck even said 'i didnt know you could get penalties for hittin someone hard'

Whats the deal with Willie Young. He was at Hargrave last season and is supposed to be the next mario. But didn't he get in trouble for something?

^ Nope... young is still on the team. He's supposedly got a shitload of potential, but basically he needs some more weight to play as an effective DE. I think when he got here he was only like 220 lbs. He has a nice size frame to add weight, it's just a matter of eating and lifting. They need to be feeding that kid butter.... if Mario leaves, Willie and Brooks will probably both be starters next year...with Newell possibly pushing Willie for a starting position (Assuming Brooks returns). Brooks is nasty, Willie will be with some more weight.

I wonder if his little brother is the same way? We'll find out soon enough

^ From what I understand, it's been considered, but our coaches really like him at TE. Could be wrong though... I just know we want him really badly... for whatever position.

I actually wish they'd put Lubisher on the O-Line.

We need some, and our OLine recruiting is struggling... again

Scout.com has Lubischer coming in this weekend.... I dunno if it's correct....?
