you could register w/ Addams, Hillsborough St Textbooks, or on campus... just tell them the classes (with section number) you're taking and they'll have it all ready for pick up

I want to buy my books online though, so is there any other way I can find out (preferbly(sp) online)

Is it really that important that you have them the first day? I did that when I was a freshman and soon realized that in most cases you won't need it for at least a week (that is if you need it at all).

good point... so I guess if you really want to have them before classes begin, you could always email the teachers you're going to have and ask them

Good luck with trying to get your stuff online. Some professors can be flaky about turning their lists in a timely manner and even the bookstore may not know what you need for your classes, but I think that's a bigger problem for fall semesters. Hope you can save some money this year by shopping around.

Just buy them at the bookstore, and then order them online too... just make sure you return them at the bookstore on time.....

^that'll work, but only if you get a used copy from the bookstore...the new ones are generally shrink wrapped, and they won't take them back if the plastic is removed

the advantage of buying your books early online is the cheaper price, not having them the first day. and sometimes onliner sellers are really slow to ship.i usually just email the prof. and get the isbn. that usually works for most of my classes, anyway.

Wait until the first day of class ... can't tell you the number of times an instructor had a different book than what was listed in the bookstore or said "my lecture notes are the test material ... no hw from the book ... so you really don't need the book".And do what robster said, used from a bookstore for temporary purposes, order online, return. Only thing about half.com is that the "large sellers" can have 98% ratings, but still cancel orders on you. Probably ordered 20-30 books online and had two orders cancelled.

I'm just wanted to get them now because of the time it takes to ship...I'll try to email the professors. Thanks
