11/26/2005 4:30:12 PM
All doubt was erased before he set foot on campusHe'd be gone in 3 barring injury. Best of luck to him... and he's a freaking beast
11/26/2005 4:32:23 PM
he goes out in his last game and dominates with a school record 4 sacks. GG
11/26/2005 4:33:32 PM
^ Same way with HudsonHeckuva way to go out
11/26/2005 4:34:32 PM
That picture right there is one for the time capsule. I don't know when NCSU or any other team for that matter will ever see such a talented, dominating group of ends. We will miss you Mario.
11/26/2005 5:44:08 PM
today was the most dominating performance i have maybe ever seen he just destroyed what ever tackle the put on him and i loved watching it first hand Good luck in the pros to both of youKeep reppin Eastern Wayne and Goldsboro Manny you the man
11/26/2005 6:33:12 PM
^he destroyed more than whatever tackle they put on him. He was doubled almost every play. All the other ones he was triple teamed. And he was still just powering his was through 3 people. I was like
11/26/2005 8:40:19 PM
one of his sacks was just his right arm putting the rock bottom on hollenbach/k
11/26/2005 8:43:52 PM
mario got a espn helmet sticker from Lou Holtz
11/27/2005 8:32:30 AM
and a couple of the tackles were GORE GORE GORE

11/27/2005 10:47:13 AM
he could have had more sacks if fucker wouldn't have thrown intentional groundings..notice plural.. although uncalled
11/27/2005 10:52:56 AM
one was calledthe other came on the play before

"He had a wonderful game. He was everywhere. We were in there watching film and he'd be calling out the plays before the ball was even snapped. He showed out. He showed his talent... he stepped up to the plate."-- manny on mario[Edited on November 27, 2005 at 12:09 PM. Reason : 456]

his first sack was great. Just blind-sided that bitch.
11/27/2005 2:03:56 PM
remember when we played clemson, and they ran the ball down our throats
11/27/2005 3:50:38 PM
ah yes, good pointextremely relevant
11/27/2005 3:56:00 PM
Remember when we made corrections after the clemson game and played great D the rest of the year? (except BC, but AJ Davis gave up half of their yards alone)
11/27/2005 4:58:06 PM
He was absolutely awesome yesterday and will be missed
11/27/2005 5:00:03 PM
11/27/2005 8:21:15 PM
how high do you think he goes in april? and manny too while we're at iti think mario's a definite first-rounder, and manny's athlete enough to be a first-rounder
11/27/2005 9:32:20 PM
Mario will go around 10-15 I would guess... with the possibility to rise or drop during combinesManny will probably be a middle 2nd rounder based on his athleticism alone. I'm not sure he'll be a DE at the next level... at least not an every down DE. Maybe in passing situations
11/27/2005 9:34:26 PM
Do any of you think that Manny would go back to playing linebacker in the NFL? When we were having some depth issues earlier in the year, I was wondering if Amato should have put him back there, considering we have a lot of depth up front.
11/27/2005 9:41:54 PM
manny will play OL or safety
11/27/2005 9:48:49 PM
Please tell me you mean "OLB" and not "OL"
11/27/2005 9:49:37 PM
i sure hope so
11/27/2005 9:50:38 PM
aha
11/27/2005 10:19:40 PM
at 6-5 and 245i really dont see manny playing safetyhe would be fine at DE
11/27/2005 10:24:46 PM
He's a terrible run stoper though. Maybe that's because he's raw... but if he plays early it will be as a rush end... not an every down DE IMOIf he winds up as an every-downer... it'll be awhile. He has a lot to learn about not overpursuing / getting blown off the ball on the run [Edited on November 27, 2005 at 10:28 PM. Reason : why the hell do I always say "Run Blocker"? ]
11/27/2005 10:26:42 PM
I can see him making a great LB if he can learn to play the position. Either way, teams would be dumb to pass up on a freak athlete like Manny. He'll be in the league for a while, whatever position he plays.
11/27/2005 10:30:15 PM
