A 7 point buck, or 3 x 4-depending on where you're from! Shot him with a 243, bigger than any my dad, brother, or boyfriend has ever gotten!Dad's gotten bigger bodies though, but not bigger horns! Pics coming Sunday evening!

11/26/2005 1:31:13 PM

11/26/2005 1:34:13 PM

Nope, just plain ol' country.
11/26/2005 1:36:36 PM

11/26/2005 1:37:58 PM

11/26/2005 1:38:58 PM

11/26/2005 1:40:57 PM

11/26/2005 1:48:50 PM
i think i had mds with you last year
11/26/2005 1:50:57 PM
i want some venison!
11/26/2005 1:52:02 PM
Really. Share the wealth.
11/26/2005 2:02:05 PM
Yes, thats me and my dad.He got a spike yesterday and another 5 point earlier this season, a friend gave us a doe he killed, so now we have LOTS of venison!! My dog got a whole tenderloin last night off dad's deer-shithead, but I made up for it with my "biggen"!
11/26/2005 2:10:01 PM
^^^^^I don't think I've had an mds class...isn't that a first year college course? I'm in CNR
11/26/2005 2:12:03 PM
11/26/2005 2:22:47 PM
good job, how much did it weigh in at
11/26/2005 2:28:35 PM
you know, you have to drink a cup of blood if the deer is your first.
11/26/2005 2:40:03 PM
^^That isn't the gun I shot him with, that was my birthday present. Mossberg 500.I used what WAS my Dad's 243, it's mine now! lol^Thank You!! He weighed in at about 160-170...not a real big body for such a rack. He had about a 13-14 inch spread. I'm taking him to the taxidermist now, ill have him measure it for me and post when I have an acurate measurement.
11/26/2005 2:40:28 PM
i know of a real good taxidermist down in fuquay where i had my first buck done. it was $250 when i had it done 6 years ago so i dont know if the price has gone up, but the job he did really impressed me
11/26/2005 2:45:41 PM
Chicks with guns = 9.6/10
11/26/2005 4:56:24 PM
11/26/2005 5:05:33 PM
Hell YEAH!!! Good for you!! I actually ate a little venison tonight. I got my best buck to date about 2 weeks ago. Here he is.
11/26/2005 6:34:22 PM
why do people always prop the head up like it is living when they take pictures of their "trophy"? if you wanted it to look alive, why did you kill it?
11/26/2005 6:41:26 PM
i have seen an 8 point twice and havent gotten a good shot at him yet. but i am still hunting with a bow. if i cant get him by monday night i will lose the bow and bag that fucker!
11/26/2005 7:24:06 PM
^^so you can see it betterbut i don't shoot deer for the trophy factor so much...i'll shoot a doe in a second...if it's brown, it's down.
11/26/2005 7:26:21 PM
Chase one down and kill it by hand and i'll be impressed.
11/26/2005 7:27:08 PM
that's the dumbest argument ever.first of all, you aren't going to "out-deer" a deer. they have superb hearing and smell, too.2nd, a deer is a deer 24/7...a person is only a hunter a tiny fraction of the time.finally, have you ever been deer hunting (especially aside from baiting and/or running dogs)? it's not exactly the turkey shoot you're envisioning. making the shot (especially with a scoped centerfire rifle) is not generally hard, and it shouldn't be. You don't want to be crossing your fingers when you squeeze the trigger...that's how you wound an animal. You want to know it's a done deal when you lay the crosshairs on your target.Getting to that point is easier said than done.
11/26/2005 7:30:39 PM
not only is it dumb its irresponsiblea responsible hunter wants the quickest, cleanest kill possible
11/26/2005 7:33:31 PM
yep. that's where my 7mm REM comes in. Hits whitetails like an Amtrak. I've never had a deer take a step after a hit from that rifle, and that's the way I like it.
11/26/2005 7:36:06 PM
ACE83 - Is that a blackpowder rifle?
11/26/2005 8:30:27 PM
Yea its a Knight Disc Elite. That was also my first muzzleloader kill. Dropped him right in his tracks.
11/26/2005 8:40:05 PM
ive noticed in the movies, they always show hunters chasing after deer, shooting at them while they runi think thats the impression non-hunters get of huntingoh, and i got my first deer when i was 12
11/26/2005 8:49:22 PM
I win
11/26/2005 10:23:01 PM
^ thats a big damn goat raht thar ^
11/27/2005 12:06:05 AM
^^ that's horrible.i'm sure its just a troll, but there is no need to thin their populations furthermore, the whole idea of a hunting safari is disgusting. there's no sport in being led to your kill by a guide.
11/27/2005 12:15:04 AM
I think an ass of that size needs to be towed to a kill, not just led.
11/27/2005 12:17:57 AM
I don't like deer hunting because deer can't shoot back.
11/27/2005 12:35:36 AM
thats why we have wolves and other large predators........ oh wait at least we still have car bumpers / windshields / passengers to kill and be killed by deer
11/27/2005 12:38:09 AM
Where do you anti's live? I want to bring a gutpile to your doorstep!
11/27/2005 1:40:47 AM
why would you want to do that?or has killing a defenseless animal put you into a testosterone crazed frenzy of empty statements that follow the pattern of your idea of what is "macho" [Edited on November 27, 2005 at 1:47 AM. Reason : s]
11/27/2005 1:43:58 AM
oh shut the fuck upIf you have ever eaten a steak or a hamburger, than you have had something killed to feed you. Some people would rather cut out the middle man and do it themselves. It doesn't make you a bad person, in fact humanity has done it for the entire course of their existance. To be honest, you are probably less of a man for not doing it.
11/27/2005 1:51:37 AM
Excoriator's daddy never took him hunting
11/27/2005 1:56:28 AM
i'd shoot a kudu for sport. there's nothing macho about appreciating some fine ornamentation.
11/27/2005 1:58:09 AM
WHO FUCKING CARES, YOU FUCKING REDNECK CUNT?!
11/27/2005 2:03:58 AM
yeah what a bunch of redneck shit
11/27/2005 2:22:35 AM
im from cary though, i thought i was rich and stuck up conflicting stereotypes!
11/27/2005 2:37:42 AM
i almost hit a dear with a nice rack the other night.
11/27/2005 2:40:12 AM
I've gone hunting and shot a few deer i've got nothing against deer hunting
11/27/2005 3:03:49 AM
i just dont understand people that do iti mean im from a VERY rural area and i know lots of people that hunt. but i just dont get it. i can kinda see it for food reasons, but its not like you need to go hunting to eatthe people that do it to mount a 12 pointer on their wall... thats just fucked up
