lacquer thinner, then use the 3-m perfect it III cutting compound, followed by the 3-m final glaze compound, you'll never know it was there

^ no use of acetone, thats just retarded, lacquer thinner ( from a automotive paint store, make sure its acrylic base, not the hardware store crap) will not damage the clearcoat, but will take damn near anything off
