thats like saying only i should know Agnostic Front, Youth Of Today, Chain Of Strength, Earth Crisis, Strife, Bad Brains, Misfits, etc.

madball is funny. i'd rather watch a band full of fat old nyhc dudes coring is up than the rest of the shit on this show. girls' pants jokes are way old and not funny anymore, but i'm so tempted.
11/25/2005 3:02:17 PM
ill prolly be there
11/25/2005 5:15:42 PM
i saw Agnostic Front and it was pretty shittastic
11/25/2005 5:47:13 PM
I saw Agnostic Front and I thought it was fucking great.
11/25/2005 8:27:35 PM
I am fucking going, Madball is one of my all time favorites in the hardcore genre and one of the first hardcore bands I heard, period. ALOL is probably one of my favorite bands overall, regardless of genre. Those other two bands really fucking blow dick though.Of course, I live in Charlotte, I would not be driving 2-3 hours to see this show.Better buy tickets in advance if you are coming from out of town, btw.[Edited on November 26, 2005 at 12:06 PM. i'm going to see as i lay dying and a life once lost. i've seen norma jean too many times to count, and with too many different singers. including the show at the brewery when their singer was sick and basically had the audience sing, and skylar from he is legend do one song
11/26/2005 10:56:23 PM
Someone wanna lemme get a ride with them?

i think the point that needs to be made here is that "the age of quarrel" ruled, and nyhc will probably never be good again.
11/27/2005 8:14:42 PM
well it was a good show. the energy from the crowd was good, except that all those damn high school kids there to see norma jean couldn't make a pit worth shit. I loved A life once lost and As i lay dying (even though all their songs pretty much are the same). didn't really watch madball, and i've seen norma jean so many times that i just kinda stood there while all the little high school kids who bought their entire outfits at hot topic went nuts.

ALOL and Madball were fantastic and made it worth my effort...As far as the other two bands, they were fucking terrible. I really hate Christian bands, especially when they make it known that they are Christian, that is really annoying. Also, As I Lay Dying had a drum solo, but their drummer was sloppy as SHIT. It had been my understanding that you don't fuck with having drum solos unless your drummer is fucking great, and he certainly is not. What a joke.Anyway, I had a lot of fun despite the weather and all the babies there.
11/28/2005 12:18:19 PM
I've never heard of Madball
11/28/2005 12:19:43 PM
^^ one thing i have to say about that is, that if straightedge/vegan/political bands make it known what they stand for, Christian bands have just as much of a right hands down.altho i think youre prob just saying you go for the music and couldnt careless to hear bands talk about their beliefs period
11/28/2005 5:36:41 PM
^I don't EVER get inspired by what band members say, so it doesn't matter what they stand for to me...Christianity is just the topic most often preached about by bands, and thus it is the one that pisses me off the most
11/28/2005 9:31:15 PM
gotcha, thats what i figured you meant. understandable
11/28/2005 9:45:01 PM
I saw Agnostic Front at the Brewery in 97 and they killed it. I dunno how they would be now though.
11/29/2005 12:18:04 PM
