i heard that chris wright, a bigtime PG recruit in the Class of 2007 will be visiting tomorrow night. he's been here a few times already so he must be pretty high on us. maybe one of yall down in the student section can make a sign for him so he sees it. the recruits sit right behind the bench.

He is a high school junior. Most of the high school seniors have already signed (Dennis Horner, Larry Davis, Dan Werner).

Chris Wright is a 2007 Prospect, which is his graduation year. I believe he is the 5th best PG in his class.

Bigtime recruit for us since Bethel and Atsur will both be gone by the time he reaches campus.

High School basketball players are much different that high school football players, most of the "big dogs" commit by their junior year or the summer shortly after. Football players wait til the spring of their senior year.

This kid is the real deal...and he really likes us. We're in good with several good point guards in this class, but we REALLY want Chris Wright.

I hope he enjoys his trip. And hopefully the crowd will be a lot better than I heard it was this weekend.

Wright has said that we're his top choice right now. And I really hope he decides to come here.

So yeah, if someone wants to make a sign to let him know we're keeping up, then go for it.

Oooh, good point. I think he's aware of the fact that we generally have pretty good attendance, though.

In any case, I'm hoping to be there (speaking of which, who wants to give me a ticket?)

Someone make him a sign, I will if nobody else wants too. But I'll be sitting in the lower level season ticket holder seats so I doubt he would see it there.

We need to land this guy. PG's are like QB's... the top ones go very early in the recruiting process.
