no way in hell we (st. louis) are worse than new orleans and few others on that list...would like to know how they're figuring all this....
11/21/2005 1:52:37 PM
^If they rolled in East St. Louis, then St. Louis belongs well ahead of the rest of those with the possible exception of Flint, MI.

So I'm reading that the safest places in America have the lowest concentration of minorities, whereas the opposite is true for the most dangerous. Just a quick look at the demographics and incomes of the different areas pretty much leads to that conclusion.[Edited on November 21, 2005 at 2:25 PM. Reason : .]
11/21/2005 2:23:29 PM
^What is considered "minority" though? Atlanta/LA most definitely have different definitions of "minority".Also,
11/21/2005 3:05:21 PM
Haha Atlanta represent. Seriously though, all the Cary and Raleigh people talking about how horrible Durham is, are you on crack? And why is Richmond, Va on that list...
11/21/2005 3:08:07 PM
You ever been to Richmond?
11/21/2005 3:12:35 PM
yeah, richmond is pretty "dark" to say the least
11/21/2005 4:01:56 PM
i was scared driving through Camden, N.J. in the middle of the afternoon, id hate to see it at night
11/21/2005 6:24:22 PM
I stayed in the heart of Camden, N.J. for a week for a community program to help some kids and shit. Every night you hear gunshots, and a lot in the day too. That place is fucking scary!
11/21/2005 6:57:12 PM
my friend told me richmond was almost as bad as atlanta, but he said he would visit richmond again, not atl though
11/21/2005 6:58:46 PM
my dad and i bike every year from our home in central jersey to philadelphia to see the national cycling championships. this requires us to ride through camden downtown to get over the ben franklin bridge...he always makes me speed up as we bike through. one time i got a flat tire and he told me to keep riding til we were at least near the bridge...the place def earns the #1 title
11/21/2005 7:18:48 PM
i use to live like 20 minutes outside of cleveland and i feel that cinci should be above cleveland but cleveland is ranked pretty appropriate i thinkthe whole state of ohio is going to the shitter quick
11/21/2005 7:21:33 PM
well, my friend Matt got stabbed for the second time in Richmond VA
11/21/2005 10:48:09 PM
Even inside the fan you aren't safe.
11/21/2005 10:49:06 PM
yeah, I'm from cleveland, but the suburbs. My dad had his car stolen twice from downtown cleveland. you definitely locked the doors in certain areas of downtown. but tons of cities have areas like that. Most of the downtown was actually pretty nice. Columbus actually has some pretty fucking ghetto areas too.
11/22/2005 9:08:11 AM
Yeah ...i 'm expecting to see Cleveland on the list . Gas Stations on Euclid and Chester (close to downtown) are My friend got robbed in there. Umm.. I saw gunshot victim on Euclid once. However, I think Cleveland isn't that dangerous if you re in the right area.
11/22/2005 9:50:34 AM
11/22/2005 10:23:03 AM
I saw a Radiohead concert in Camden once.I got shot nine times but I just made a rap album about it.

tampa isnt bad i could see living thereno way in miami or fort lauderdale though
11/22/2005 2:42:10 PM
Are you kidding me?Tampa is a shithole. My roommate is from there and even admits it. Ybor City? Horrible. If you said Naples or Fort Meyers, then I'd agree. Plus, Miami is a completely different place since the rich people took it over and they got that good mayor in 1990.
11/22/2005 2:44:54 PM
^Tampa isnt that bad. bor City might be a shithole but everywhere else in the city people are rich as fuck. Try south Tampa next time.
11/22/2005 2:47:37 PM
Naples is pretty but it's full of old peopleand i wouldnt live in tampa, id prolly live in clear water or st petei guess it depends on where in miami youre talking about
11/22/2005 2:48:32 PM
I saw a guy get jumped in Ybor by a bunch of dudes a few years ago and I never cared for the city of Tampa. Naples is full of old people but its a very nice town and a really cool place. Miami is shitty in areas like any city in its poorer parts (Overtown, Liberty City, Upper Eastside), but the poorer places are disappearing rapidly and the nicer places (Coconut Grove, Brickell, The Roads, Key Biscayne) are getting bigger. I would never care to move to Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) and Palm Beach because its seedy and you start seeing more Florida white trash there. You turn on the news and you see something really fucked up, 99% of the time its in Broward County or Palm Beach County.

1. Cary link send redefine 362 up, 44 downLocated in North Carolina. A scant 20 miles from Raleigh, it's still possible (and a frequent night-long activity) to whine about having nothing to do. The world's largest collection of anal cops and coffee shops within a three-mile radius, one has ample oppurtunity to buy an overpriced mediocre coffee and somehow get arrested while doing it. Home of Green Hope High School, (home of the 2nd most expensive school parking lot in the nation) as well as the much less snobby and much less talked about Apex and Cary High School. "Downtown" Cary is home to less then 13 black people. My life-long goal is to get the hell out of Cary. That rich white man lives in Cary.the list goes on at http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Caryi might add to it i live there.
