we looked much better tonight for the first 30 minutes...not nearly as sloppy....although some fuck ups. I like this team.

Yeah, I think there's a lot to look forward to.

At the same time, the freshmen need to learn to work in the offense instead of forcing up shots.

i thought we looked really good except on D at the beginning of the second half. I wonder if we're intentionally not playing perimeter D because most teams wont shoot the 3, or if we just really suck at it. This team looked a lot better than fucking guelph, and we played a much better game tonight.

Ced missed some free throws really bad again, but got big inside a few times. He had one really nice dunk, and a few more put backs that I liked...he has to step up down low...he's too athletic to sit around on his ass.

Fells didnt play much...I wonder why. He actually plays better than Gavin when he's in at least on offense because he can pass the hell out of the ball. He didnt even come in untill 5 minutes left in the first.

ps....the referees sucked balls too, so the 30 point win should have been about 50.

you can tell ced's really improving. hopefully he keeps it up. even from the last game, tonight you could tell he was a whole lot more agressive with the ball and going for the ball. had at least eight rebounds tonight. he looked gettin em too.

Oh yeah, and Atsur looked really good tonight. He only played about half of the game that I saw, but hit a few 3's and had some nice drives, passes, and rebounds. He was wet as hell in warmups from 3. He hit about 6 in a row one time I was watching him.

Where was everyone at???? That was a pathetic turnout for students.

About the game, the team looks as if it will play as a team, not Hodge first. Gavin looks as if he may calm down and work the offense although he forces it a lot. On any given night any of our guys can step it up and score. McCauley looks sharp in there fighting in the post. Costner was forcing the 3 when he was in even though it wasn't falling. Fells is gonna struggle to see the court if we use the bigger lineup with Brackman, Simmons and Evtimov. I like the tall lineup though.

don't be ridiculous.. our offense was nothing but 2 man sets with everybody else standing around and then a three pointer. I hate this offense because I think we'd be so successful posting up Simmons, Brackman, Evtimov, and even Grant. Yeah we scored 91 points but against a better defense and a cold night behind the arc.. we are in trouble if we don't learn how to go inside

If you are actually for real there then... wow, But I personally believe that you are kidding because that was some amazing team work they had going on. If you did not see the game then just stop talking, because on every single posestion the guys were working hard and looking for the best shots. There were some many "wow, what a great pass" thoughts in that game that it is hard not to have high hopes for the season.

AND, Stetson actually had some extremely quick gaurds, and it was prolly great experience for the team to have to defend against them. But if there caoch would just keep them from ball-hogging so much then they might have the potential to be a much better team. But this certantly is not the case, for it seems none of them really knew how to look for the open man.

And yes, it is a friday night and I am on tdub... taking a break from school work.
