Cave In - Perfect Pitch Black

One of my favorite bands of all time, however, this album is a HUGE dissappointment. Then again, they will likely never top Jupiter or Antenna (or any of the other albums)

Kanye West - Late Registration

Not much explanation needed here. Average, when it could have been more.

Mars Volta - Frances the mute..

30 minutes of great songs and 30 minutes of bullshit.. Not saying I don't like it.. but it was a disappointment. After having seen them twice, I was expecting more of the new material.. Still looking forward to the next one.

Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost

It was good, but it wasn't Sphongle. It was too much like another Hallucinogen cd

yeah the mars volta cd will have an awesome song.........then like 10 minutes of jamming and random noises
while half of the cd i can't get out of my head.... the rest of it is just too far out there for me.

I liked both of them. I like the new Franz Ferdinand better than the old one.

Liz Phair has yet again put out a disappointing album. I liked her a lot better when she was angry and said FUCK a lot.

The new Weezer was worse than Maladroit, which is both expected and sad.

Mariah Carey
Disappointing because she's still alive and making albums.

It was good, but I was disappointed that it wasn't very ambient-ish. Simon Posford usually uses Sphongle to release his more mellow stuff, this sounded like a Hallucinogen cd

Anybody who realized Weezer would never make a good album again.

i.e. anybody who knows what's up.

ok, I just bought Perfect Pitch Black and, in spite of the fact that every album takes me a few listens before I can make my final synopsis, I reeeaally like this album so far. I've always liked their style(s). . .they're just so refreshing, unique, spacy. . .

Bloodhound Gang - Hefty Fine
a lot of dull, a little witty, and not funny like the last 3
