So given that case air flow should be as such:Wouldn't a side opening right above the cpu be bad for overall in-case temperatures? It seems like it would lead to stagnant air around the hard drive if all the air brought into the case by the cpu and power supply fans came in through the cpu opening rather than the front opening.I've tested my PC with the side opening open and with it covered, and my cpu temp goes up about one degree C with the opening covered, but I don't have any data on the overall temp. Thoughts?

i find my window fan works best when it blows into the case, sometimes its just trial and error to find the optimal setup

yes, remove all panels and add 36" window fans, if needed add chilled water

my computer kept getting to hot one time and i put it in the freezer for about an hour and when i turned it on it stayed cooled down for about an hour
