I love how the duke fans are dead quiet during the opposing team's free throws then they yell at release. That seems like it would work much better than a bunch of yelling...I wish we could coordinate that.

It actually works against them. Every year they get all the calls during the reg season then tourney time comes around and they don't know how to deal with a physical team... look at the last 3 years.. Redick doesn't know how to handle taking a few bumps and always looks very ordinary in the NCAAs..

his dropoff in stats from reg season/ACC tourney to the NCAA tourney is astounding..

Yeah, I called that last year--they had an easy time in the ACC, but I knew that style wouldn't work once they hit the tournament.

I was listening to the Duke radio broadcast of the game against Michigan State, and it was just hilarious to hear them keep bitching about how "the refs won't even listen to K!!!1111!!!" and how unfair the game was.

I used to get all uptight about Duke getting calls but that was before we started beating them once a year... that and they have lost like 6 straight to UConn too.. it's funny seeing K get outcoached game after game against UConn to me...

^ I think we can have success against Duke if we can draw Shelden out.. we need a stopper to get JJ frustrated though and I'm not sure we have that right now..

Coach K is the greatest coach of all time...Herb is in my opinion one of the worst coaches all time in the ACC and if you don't believe me you will come middle of the season when you all are complaining about him like you do every year.

I will say this. Herb's gameplan against UConn was absolutely perfect. He did something Coach K hasn't done the last 6 times he's played them... outcoached Jim Calhoun. I was so excited for Herb that he finally could shut up the critics even if only for a little time (yes I'm a State fan first and foremost unlike all these faggot Blue Devil fans that show this time of year)

V how is USF looking? Haven't heard much about their bball program...

That statement is retarded. How can you call someone whos taken his team to a streak of NCAA tourney appearances a worse coach than someone like Pete Gillen who hasn't been able to get his team out of the ACC cellar the whole time he has been there.

Please, you are now being disingenuous. its clear now that K is the best coach in the game over the last 20 years. Also, roy maintained kansas' program quite well. The point was that they are both clearly better than herb, and that point stands.
