HOW MANY THREAD LIKE THIS DO WE NEED. ALSO DO WE NOT ALREADY HAVE A HUGE TNG THREAD SOMEWHER? I THINKW E DO.[Edited on November 13, 2005 at 6:33 PM. Reason : at min you've got a best season thread, and worst episodes.]
11/13/2005 6:29:08 PM
the naked now by far
11/13/2005 6:35:19 PM
oh man, the Q episodes, the one with spock, and the funky holodeck ones were all classics
11/13/2005 6:40:38 PM
I understand why the Q episodes would make for good drama, and why Q would be a likable character, so I'm not going to argue. But I can't stand any of the Q episodes. Such bullshit.
11/13/2005 6:50:59 PM
i always hated having the partial credits at the beginning of the episode, so you would know if Q was coming later in the episode before it really even started

Cause and Effect; my fave all time ep

Chain of Command, my personal favoriterunners up:Measure of a ManAll Good ThingsInner Light
11/13/2005 8:54:10 PM
Most Definitely on "the inner light." But also the one where Data crash lands and loses his memory on a pre-renaissance planet. I think its called, "Thine Own Self"
11/13/2005 9:13:15 PM
Shades of Gray is obviously the best episode.
11/13/2005 9:14:06 PM
chain of command is greatbetter acting then most movies
11/13/2005 9:20:27 PM
I just watched Royale. Gotta be the dumbest episode ever. Someone should create a "worst episodes list"
11/13/2005 9:25:13 PM
^ for all the good ones, there are a few that just fucking suck.

11/13/2005 10:14:16 PM
All Good Things couldnt have been better as a movie. I think that was possibly the best Star Trek ever. And isnt it nice to actually end a series with arguably the best episiode?[Edited on November 14, 2005 at 1:37 AM. Reason : .]
11/14/2005 1:36:33 AM
I didnt like that episode. Too ridiculous, even by Star Trek standards imo
11/14/2005 1:54:12 AM
"All Good Things"
11/14/2005 1:56:35 AM
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
11/14/2005 2:00:06 AM
All Good Things was good, but what didn't make sense to me is that if the anomaly was in the past, growing larger, then wouldn't people of our time (2000) see it, and thus affect Picard's future? But, the episode where they encounter a space probe, and Picard lives out his life as a different race in 25 minutes was good.
11/14/2005 2:02:50 AM
^that ep kinda shows why tng was such a great series... it was such an origonal and creative idea

11/14/2005 2:53:07 AM
i kinda liked that one
11/14/2005 2:56:25 AM
^^^the reason why is because I remember how much I liked it when I was a child, it brings back little happy memories.
11/14/2005 7:52:49 AM
The episode where the crew de-evolves and The Defector (Admiral Jarok sp?).
11/14/2005 9:48:15 AM
the one where they all die
11/14/2005 10:39:13 AM
I always liked the one where they find Riker's old ship and use the phase-cloak on the Enterprise. A later episode where LaForge and Ro are presumed killed in a transporter accident was really good too. What's the one where some weird pipe-looking thing is using the Enterprise to replicate and it takes control of the Holodeck? I remember in the beginning Data is practicing the Tempest in the holodeck and a train comes through.(and slightly off-topic, best DS9 episode I saw was when Sisko's kid was trading and doing favors around the ship to get Sisko the old baseball card.)

CHAIN OF COMMAND ON NOW MOTHERFUCKERS!
11/17/2005 3:07:40 PM
the episode where Data is kidnapped and is forced to choose to kill or not is up thereif only they had actually showed him shooting the guy thoughtoo lazy to make a top ten but that should be on there, inner light and measure of a man too[Edited on November 19, 2005 at 2:43 AM. Reason : k]
11/19/2005 2:42:22 AM
^ They couldn't show him shooting the guy, because he was transported the instant he shot him (so the guy wasn't shot, but Data did shoot him, kinda weird in a brilliant TNG way).
11/19/2005 5:19:15 AM
yes he did discharge the weaponbut whats odd is that he lied about it. i kinda thought data coudnt lie. or maybe thats vulcans.[Edited on November 19, 2005 at 6:37 AM. Reason : 0]
11/19/2005 6:37:29 AM
was it just me... or was The Chase directly contradicted by All Good Things?[Edited on November 19, 2005 at 7:22 AM. Reason : (i wouldn't mention it if someone hadn't listed both of them above and included a summary)]
11/19/2005 7:20:35 AM
^there is a reason why nobody cares about that. startrek often took liberties for the sake of creating some very unique shows. each episode is almost its own experiment, with its own version of reality.the point was to posit the idea that all life was seeded, not neccesarily to make it startrek dogma. did i make sense?

Borgand QEpisodesIII&FH...A???
11/19/2005 5:19:43 PM
The Defector - The opening shot is just awesome with the Romulan scout ship being chased and then at the end the two warbirds and Tamolak thinking he is all badass until the Klingon birds of prey decloak all around them. Darmok - Awesome awesome awesome episode. And their ship was pretty cool too.Any of the Q episodes - John de Lancie is phenominal.Conundrum - The best part about this was Ro. First she is super hot and the things she says the Will are priceless. The golden moment of this episode is at the very end when Deanna and Ro are sitting together when Will comes up and the look that Deanna gives him as she says "If you're still confused in the morning, you know where my office is " *scowl*
11/20/2005 8:10:49 AM
John de Lancie in real life is kinda an idiot
