I know USC is on probation for all the crap (10 violation, 5 major) under Lou Holtz....does this mean they can't go bowling even though they have 6 wins?

I don't believe Bowls are considered NCAA post season so that may be the loop hole...I know people have projected them in bowls so that must be the case.

No, they weren't banned from bowl games.
