11/11/2005 1:51:58 PM
Alabama wins this one at home then loses to Auburn on the road.
11/11/2005 2:09:59 PM
Thats funny...especially when you consider that ABC doesnt even have a contract with the SEC...youd think people working for the mouse would know this.
11/11/2005 2:17:22 PM
I say the tigers win this one. bamas defense won't score enough.
11/11/2005 2:25:20 PM

11/12/2005 3:46:43 PM
At least that is over. I mean I hate both teams like a plauge so I didn't care one way or another..I just want to see some REAL football...
11/12/2005 3:56:23 PM
11/12/2005 3:59:32 PM
Im rooting for Alabama, just to screw over the BCS again. A team that wins the SEC, the best football conference, and goes undefeated should have a chance at the National Championship. Auburn should have been there last year.
11/12/2005 4:00:03 PM
^ agreed
11/12/2005 4:02:57 PM
I agree. I like what they were saying on SportsCenter the other day, if Alabama does go undefeated, and wins the SEC and doenst get to play for the National Championship, then the SEC should boycot all the BCS bowls and refuse to play in them. They said its gonna take something like that before the BCS fucks change some things.
11/12/2005 4:33:25 PM
rabble rabble rabbleold/not gonna happen so dont worry about it
11/12/2005 4:34:24 PM
Wouldn't Alabama move into 2nd if they beat LSU? That would give them better wins than Texas.
11/12/2005 4:56:25 PM
There's no way they will move ahead of texas unless they lose.
11/12/2005 5:03:04 PM
Alabama will have beaten two # 5 teams. But, I guess as usual, the SEC is beating up on each other so it prolly won't matter.
11/12/2005 5:07:41 PM
damn it. If LSU would make their fricken field goals or score a touchdown. Their defense is all over alabama.
11/12/2005 6:46:23 PM
They need to do better camerawork on the LSU cheerleaders
11/12/2005 6:54:55 PM
So is Alabama's. UAs defense is just disgusting. They have only allowed 19pts in their last 4 games(not counting tonight so far). It doesn't get much better than that.
11/12/2005 7:01:51 PM
get the fucking first down, he's not gonna make this field goal
11/12/2005 7:07:51 PM
If you are a fan of college football, you want Alabama to win this game so they have a chance of going undeafeated and making the BCS a cluster fuck again.WIDE RIGHT BITCHES!!! Why does LSUs FG kicker have his full name on the back of his jersey?[Edited on November 12, 2005 at 7:11 PM. Reason : .]
11/12/2005 7:08:56 PM
I'm rooting for Bama...
11/12/2005 7:10:49 PM
i hate the BCSbut i hate Alabama more
11/12/2005 7:10:56 PM
How can you hate a sinlge team more than you can hate a fucked up system that doesnt make any sense?God damn, what a good fucking game! WTF? Nice litte dump pass. Yeah it almost worked, but go for the endzone atleast :roll[Edited on November 12, 2005 at 7:18 PM. Reason : .]
11/12/2005 7:11:40 PM
it was a good callthey already had three defenders waiting in the endzone
11/12/2005 7:20:14 PM
Doesnt matter, atleast you have a better chance of one of your guys catching the ball than of one rushing for 40yds to score.btw, I say this is the 2nd best game of the year behind the USC vs ND game.Ive got Alabama for 100$ at +3. Bastards better hold out.Oddly, I push, because LSU isnt gonna kick the PAT. [Edited on November 12, 2005 at 7:25 PM. Reason : .][Edited on November 12, 2005 at 7:29 PM. Reason : .]
11/12/2005 7:22:13 PM

11/12/2005 7:29:09 PM

11/12/2005 7:29:26 PM
^^You're an idiot. Like I said, you should have been pulling for Alabama to fuck up the BCS again.
11/12/2005 7:32:03 PM
WAR EAGLEaha sucks 2 b u bama
11/12/2005 7:33:51 PM
I wanted LSU to win. Really hoping that USC and/or Texas will lose, just to mess things up. BCS is terrible. College OT is also terrible. I've said that since day one of it. Its very exciting. But its also total bullshit. Look at today. You play 60 minutes of grind it out, really good, field position football. Then you set both teams up in the red zone. Your playing a completely different game in OT than in regulation. Might as well go to a bowling alley and settle it. Best of 3 frames.
11/12/2005 8:05:49 PM
basically everything you just said is wrongcollege OT is a lot more fair than the fucking NFL
11/12/2005 8:06:58 PM
No, everything I said is right. I never said the NFL was perfect. But, at least they play the same game. There is a game clock. There are punts. Field position. You can argue that the NFL is unfair b/c of the coin toss. But, with all the reasons college OT is unfair...throw the coin toss into that as well. Whoever gets the ball first has a huge disadvantage. Like I say, it may be exciting, but its a garbage way to decide a game. Its nothing more than a shoot-out in hockey or soccer. I like when people think college OT is fair, just b/c both teams get the ball. Playing a different game is not fair, and just not a good way to decide a game that teams have spent a week to prepare for. I would be in favor of playing a variation of sudden death, where you have to score at least 6 points to win. I do think its kind of crappy to get the ball first, drive into FG range and kick w/o giving the other team the ball. Also, if you'll notice in my last post, I said nothing at all about the NFL.
11/12/2005 8:59:11 PM
11/12/2005 9:01:43 PM
But, its not the same game. What if you have 2 great defensive teams. End of game is 0-0. No one can move the ball. You've just put both teams in field goal range by playing a different game. Also, team that gets ball first in NFL OT history has won about 53% of the time. That doesn't make it fair, but it is a fact.
11/12/2005 9:05:35 PM
I'm not defending NFL OT. I am condemning college OT. I do think that if you had to score 6 pts in NFL's OT, that would be fair, or as fair as you can get. There's a coin toss at the beg. of the game. Is that fair? You've got to start the game somehow. If you let a team go 80 yards, then yes, you lose.
11/12/2005 9:07:34 PM
11/12/2005 9:09:31 PM
Basically, the college OT system is fair. Its just not the same game. So, my conclusion is that it is not fair and not a good way to determine a game by playing an entirely different game.
11/12/2005 9:10:53 PM
haha, god damn you fucking n00b
11/12/2005 9:12:36 PM
Dude, what I'm saying is that its almost 50-50. 53% is basically half. With all the NFL overtime games since 1957, there has been no correllation to who gets the ball first and winning. The team that loses the coin toss wins the game almost half the time.
