on it's headWow, I am really excited about this, and hope it is true. The basis of the whole theory is in bold below.

{no}We did some work on his stuff here. We were unable to reproduce his lines in the spectra from the He/H plasma.Futhermore, fractional quantum states around an atom have not been observed. One of our former professors worked for him. Basically, Mills made up most of his data.[Edited on November 9, 2005 at 1:40 PM. Reason : almost forgot]

what a dick

before i take your word for it, i will wait to hear from more able authorities.i mean, it says some scientists have come to believe his data.so some believe him, some don't.i will wait.

well, actually, we could never observe his spectral lines b/c they were in the deep UV. Way too energetic for us to have measured with our equipment. And, he didn't really make up his data in so much as analyzed his data incorrectly. And when the proper method was used to analyze the data by fellow physicists at his company that disproved his work, he fired them.In conclusion, Blacklight power is a crock of shit.P.S. - I'm one of the grad students that consulted for this company. And it's my old adviosr (and nukewolf's) who went to work there. Plus, if you read the scientist's comments that "agree with Mills," he doesn't so much agree with him, rather say that not all of Mills' work is impossible. But he reiterates that no one can repeat Mills' experiments. Primarily b/c of my explanation above about him "massaging the data." If you read his scientific papers, and know something about plasma physics and spectroscopy, Mills' errors are very apparent.[Edited on November 9, 2005 at 2:12 PM. Reason : explanation for OEPII]

well this is all bullshit

^Fair enough. There is something interesting in atomic physics which is going on in these plasma. I think it is transfer of energy from one metastable state of one element which is resonant with the ionization energy of another element. That much is believable and is in reputable journals, like "Plasma Sources Science and Tech." and "Journal of Applied Physics".It's the line broadening data, and the claim of hydrinos, that I frankly don't believe.Nopneti: I remember now...you guys were looking at total heat balance, not UV.[Edited on November 9, 2005 at 2:15 PM. well what kills me is the 1000 times more heat than conventional fuel claimjust screams violation of the conservation of mass, energy, and a 2nd law of thermo
11/9/2005 2:22:11 PM
no it doesn't. nuke power offers 1000 times more energy than burning firewood

What a letdown. If Quantum theory were to have holes found in it that would have been a good thing :/
11/9/2005 2:26:42 PM
So regardless of what is actually happening in the atoms, and whether or not it "disproves" quantum theory...is his phenomenon a viable cheap source of energy?
