^i know. i have an audigy 2 zs on my desktop but i was wondering if its worth it for the laptop. i listen to music through laptop. only use desktop for gaming so...

it's a good card. It'll be worth it if you play music on your laptop through a good set of headphones or speakers, esp. surround sound. For $80, might as well if you've got the money.

it's not like there are a whole lot of options for notebook sound...
