I am looking for some music but am not sure exactly how to describe it, btu I will try.Something that sounds kindof like Linkin Park "Cure for the Itch" - something that almost sounds like it could be the track for a rap song.Any bands, etc that are like this? I have been looking this type of music for a while but have had only limited luck.Good "chill music"

Chill music = rap beats?

Disco Biscuits; not that I would compare them to shitty linkin park but they are kind of an electronica-based jamband. Their fans would flame me for referring to them as that, but it could be what you're looking for. They're awesome, regardless.[Edited on November 7, 2005 at 10:49 PM. Reason : ]

I don't know that Linkin Park song, but from the rest of what you've said, you might like the album Gandalf's Beat Machine by Eligh. He's a producer and beat-maker for Living Legends crew, and that album is just a bunch of really creative instrumental beats he made, very chill for the most part.

If you're interested in rap and ethnic music at all, you might like groups like Arabic Breakbeats, Kulisch and Vana (Indian), Badmarsh&Shri (Indian), Tabla Beat Science, and Talvin Singh. Most of it's pretty chill.I also have an album by a group called Ojos De Brujo, which is a fusion of flamenco music with hiphop and electronic elements.
