I will pay somebody if they could possibly tell me how to get out of my University Towers lease agreement without having to pay the large fine. I am forced to move out because of a house that was built and I need to know how to get out or else have someone take it over. I would pay money for either.

This is a situation that can be solved with violence.

how much is the rent?
11/7/2005 12:44:46 AM
yea the Volunteers really need some fucking help this year

the "rent" (though you tend to by the semester) depends on how many meals you want in your plan per weeksome people (especially new students starting in January) might sign UT contracts mid-year, so if you could find someone doing that, it could work

tell them that you cant concentrate there. too much noise and you have also had people knocking on your door in the middle of the night. just act scared. tell them you want out ASAP. people are trying to break in. and you do not feel safe in the parking garage.

I'm trying to address all the questions. The rent does depend on how many meals a person wants. If someone is interested in taking over, please pm me and I can fill you in on more details. Also, I have one of the larger rooms so that would be a plus for anyone considering UT for next semester.

Just find someone to take over your remaining lease. I'm not sure about the exact details per say. But that's pretty much what you have to do.

maybe tell them you are not attending classes next semester and transfering. I did this when I lived at Granville towers in CH. Granted I was transfering but they never asked for a class schedule or anything and I still showed up in the UNC-CH system as a student....

that may work, thanks for the suggestion. Does anybody else have any other tips or know anyone that may be interested in staying here?
11/8/2005 1:43:02 PM
You can only try one of these. If you try the "transfer" method you can't try the "scared" method.

Don't pay the fine. wait 7 years til it falls off your record. Profit.Seriously though I would state that you are not able to attend school next semester because of family financial problems and need to return home to help out. Generally they will let you out of the lease... but i would take at least a week to try to find someone to replace you.
