is athlon power supply different from pentium? cuz the power supply from athlon has 2 sets of wires goes to the mother board while pentium one has only one set to the motherboard. athlon one has extra 6 wires. what does that wires do?

Whoa, that thing's old.

New PCs, AMD and Intel alike, all have the same 24-pin power connectors
