This is some of what is being debated over on the ShitPit......

"Stater seems pretty worthless as far as the conference is concerned, they don't really add anyything to any of the sports played by our conference. I also think they'd really be slightly above average playing in conference USA. And being slightly above average seems like something they really get pumped up about.

So my question is how difficult would it be to just boot them out of the conference. Money shouldn't really be a factor adn I can't imagine there would be too many other road bumps to getting this done.

Basically, as it now stands, they're just sitting around collecting checks from the conference for their share of the bowl money/TV money (I'm not really sure how money is dished out for basketball, wheather you get x dollars for making the tourney or if you get money for progressing into the deeper rounds). Maybe we could replace them with a school like Pitt who would make BC seem like a more logical member of the ACC and isn't quite as bad as state."

Some of his fellow Heels even see this guy as warped.
