Who is going to win this year? I'll go with Milan.Oh and I just saw the EPL standings. How THE FUCK is Wigan still 2nd? 2 of he promoted teams are in the top half of the table still. West Ham (my favorite club) is still 9th.Oh, I don't give a shit if you don't like soccer so save your post.
10/31/2005 3:59:29 PM
Do you know the worst part about playing soccer?
10/31/2005 4:01:00 PM
chelski has made soccer boring but they will win three out of the four trophies. Champions league, EPL, and FA Cup. at least that arrogant ass hole Mourinho lost in the carling cup.
10/31/2005 4:12:16 PM
Wigan is playing super-tight at the back, period.
10/31/2005 4:21:06 PM
Rosenborg to beat Real Madrid. You heard it here first. (well, they're playing in Norway)
10/31/2005 5:10:03 PM
10/31/2005 5:21:34 PM
BOO PROTESTANTS!Seriously though, Rosenborg? The same Rosenborg that got murdered by Arsenal?
10/31/2005 5:29:55 PM
Who is on today? I know there are games that I can't watch...
11/1/2005 12:27:19 PM
PSV v. AC Milan
11/1/2005 12:31:50 PM
man utd vs lillie tomorrow. with uniteds form lately this could be not pretty to watch, but i believe rooney will take over and win it for the red devils
11/1/2005 12:56:10 PM
11/1/2005 1:02:11 PM
i never cared about soccer when i was in the states, it´s too hard to follow the right way. but i´ve been in spain this semester and now i love it, these fans are hardcore as shit and soccer is life. i was pissed about missing football season but from all of your posts i don´t think i´m missing much....anyways, barcelona will win it all, ronaldhino is god.
11/1/2005 1:07:16 PM
^you are correct, ronaldhino is god
11/1/2005 1:49:48 PM
Go AC Milan.
11/1/2005 2:29:07 PM
^^^ You're right, it is hard to get into soccer here. I'm a MetroStars fan and thanks to a nice service mlsnet.com has, I can watch all their games live on their website, but it doesn't really mean much cause I have no one outside of an online forum to talk to about it. Although being a soccer fan in NC is easier than being a non-NASCAR racing fan in NC.
11/1/2005 2:42:20 PM
^yeah, take tonight for example...i´m watching the Chelsea vs. Betis game with a spanish family, and they´re flipping out on every play and screaming. it´s an interesting experience and impossible not to like.
11/1/2005 3:25:17 PM
just checked the scores. How is Betis beating Chelski. It just makes no sense. I mean they can't even beat anyone in the league and they are 1 up on the best club in the world (at least IMO -- though i HATE them)
11/1/2005 3:45:18 PM
they are trying to save face...that beating chelsea just gave them was only a couple weeks ago
11/1/2005 4:03:55 PM
this game is getting very physical/exciting[Edited on November 1, 2005 at 4:17 PM. Reason : .]
11/1/2005 4:15:39 PM
does anyone have a game tv schedule?
11/1/2005 5:23:33 PM
That would be hilarious if Chelsea didn't qualify for the knockout stage. I'm sure Liverpool would like that too. Now imagine if Liverpool gets upset by Real Betis in a few weeks' time. Assuming Anderlecht losing their two remaining games, how the table will turn out will depend on that Liverpool-Chelsea game. The English sportswriters are licking their chops if that happens.Liverpool 3-0-1 10ptsChelsea 2-1-1 7ptsReal Betis 2-2-0 6ptsAnderlecht 0-4-0 0ptsOn November 23:Chelsea @ AnderlechtReal Betis @ LiverpoolOn December 6:Liverpool @ ChelseaAnderlecht @ Real Betis^ They always show one of the following: Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and on very rare occasions Liverpool.[Edited on November 1, 2005 at 6:45 PM. 11/2/2005 4:32:11 PM
Wow. I wonder how long old Fergie stays on there with these sorts of recent results..
11/2/2005 4:36:28 PM
poor performance the last two times out for united. rio is the biggest waste of 120,000 pounds a week. chelski could thump them worse then Middlesbrough. it makes me sad that no trophies will be coming to old trafford this season.
11/2/2005 4:42:46 PM
^they proved me wrong. united won 1-0. Fletcher scored in the 33rd minute. hopefully this will be a turning point in the season.
11/6/2005 1:04:03 PM
hey anybody know who won the benfica united gamei recorded it but the tape stoped before the end.
12/8/2005 9:00:43 PM

12/8/2005 9:37:20 PM
how will keano have the last laughi watched it. your right giggs wasnt in the game, ronaldo tried to hard for being back in portugal(nice middle finger as he was subed off too), rooney and schoals are the only ones that played hard[Edited on December 8, 2005 at 9:39 PM. Reason : ]
12/8/2005 9:37:46 PM
he doesn't play for them anymore, and they're not playing in european competition for the first time in a decade?
12/8/2005 9:39:11 PM
i dont think he will be lauging when if he stays in englend he will be playing for a bottom table team and will never see europe again.[Edited on December 8, 2005 at 9:43 PM. Reason : to much poly sci]
12/8/2005 9:43:04 PM
Keano is getting the last laugh because he's been saying the young United players don't play hard enough for almost two years, and *bam* they're out of Europe because they didn't play hard.
12/9/2005 12:56:25 AM
god damned Benficagod damned Glazergod damned embarassing loss!
12/9/2005 7:19:22 AM
Rangers are in the knockout stages and Man U are out of Europe all together. Keane is supposedly going to Celtic.[Edited on December 9, 2005 at 7:30 AM. Reason : .]

^^^^ just watched Lyon for the first time this year today -- they played Lille at home and looked miserable but from what I've read/heard, they've really been great this year. Have you watched them play anybody? I'm just curious if you had a specific reason for picking themI don't care who wins it all really, I just hope that Barcelona-Chelsea is as good as last year, great stuff
12/16/2005 9:12:49 PM
I just picked Lyon because they've been dominating League 1 for the past 5 years
12/16/2005 11:10:47 PM
oh yeah, that french first division is brutalnah I see your point, I read there was some talk of them possibly going undefeated, that's how impressive they've been
12/16/2005 11:52:26 PM
This is about the F.A. Cup but on FSC right now Birmingham City (obviously a top flight club) is being given all they can handle by Torquay United (a side about to be relegated from Division 2 down to the Conference League...).Torquay just hit a rocket off the bar and then a minute later the Birm keeper made a diving save to his right. I love watching these early F.A. games when the small clubs get the Premeirship sides to come there to play..[Edited on January 7, 2006 at 11:11 AM. Reason : 0-0 54th minute]
1/7/2006 11:10:46 AM
yeh i watched it, crazy stuff... it would be awesome if they won the replay
1/7/2006 12:16:25 PM
First leg of the stage starts tomorrow. ESPN is showing Real Madrid vs Arsenal and Chelsea vs Barcelona on wednesday. They are listed to start at 2:30 but the matches wont start till closer to 3.
