Anyone had this guy recently? I looked up past posts and well...much hasnt changed in regards to him being the worst prof. ever and a total douche bag. Anyone know anything about how he curves?

Unfortunately, I had him two years ago. He did actually put a decent curve on final grades, bc I sure wasnt expecting to get the grade I did after his final exam.

i had him freshman year after i took AP calc and had an A in that class, however, he is a complete douche bag and makes his tests/class hard as fuck...i got a C in there and did freshman retake only to earn an A+ with another teacher w/o having to do work....DO NOT TAKE HIM!

yeah i have him this semester and i hate it. The tests are incredibly hard, and i dont know whether to keep a C if i earn it in there or to take a freshman retake. any opinions?

ummm...geez dont freakout about silverstein....When I had him for 141, I made a 60 on the final, and still got an A. It really depends on how everyone else is doing in the class.

He was a dick and would always say "daterrrr" instead of "data" or "theterrrr" instead of "theta". And he would always wear v-neck shirts with his chest hair flying all over the place. His favorite comment seemed to be "You should have learned this in high school."

i took silverstein's ma141 class freshman year, F

he was a cock in the mouth, didn't seem to have much respect for the fact that we didn't all have ph d's in calc..........didn't seem to show much respect for us students either

i doubt he's changed
