Just got an 04 Acura RSX and was going to get some seat covers but found out that they would interfer with the side airbags. Anyone know of a site that sells relatively cheap ones (<$40) that would acommodate these?

cheap and seat covers that fit are not good when used together

haha, yeah. I got some universal fit ones from Target and they fit fine, but I did not realize the side air bags would be affected (my old car didn't have them), so I'll have to return them. It doesn't seem like it should make them cost too much for a hole cut in the side.

couldn't you get someone to modify them for a couple of bucks

couldnt you just cut a hole in it and hem it?

If I knew how to sew.... I'll just ask my girlfriend to do it for me. Sometimes the best answer is the simplest one.

no cheap ass target seat covers can contain ANY airbag. you have nothing to worry about except looking gay.

that shit will rip right through when it goes off like the hulk ripping through a shirt, havent you ever seen an airbag go off? its like asking if a napkin will contain a c-4 blast.
