I just bought Age of Empires 3 from bestbuy, but it wont work on my laptop coz i dont have a 64 mb graphics card, mine is only 8 mb (yeah lame i know!!).

anyway i bought it friday evening and since i cant use it and best buy wont take back cds, does anyone want to buy it from me??
i bought it for 50 $ and since its all of 3 days old, thats the same amount i would like for it.

Go to Age of Empire's Distributor website and pull off their agreement with vendors who sell their CD's. Ask for the manager of best Buy and show it to them.

They are required to give you your money back (at least ubisoft distributed games) in their agreement with being able to sell those games.

so what happens when you try installing a game that you dont have a good enough graphics card for?

i got a 32 mb card in my 3 year old laptop

back in the day that was like the best you could get though

just install it fully and then go into game settings and turn down graphics and special effects and stuff like that. it'll run but most eye candy would prob have to be turned off i would think. this is as long as ur other system components meet requirements (ie RAM, CPU, etc.)

huh? its company policy for Best Buy NOT to take back software due to copyright laws. They can ONLY exchange it for the same damn thing. Its the customers fault in this situation for being a dumbass.

haha jeez ur one lame mofo. If it doesnt work on my comp why would i copy it??
I traded my desktop with ym brother for his laptop recently and thats the one that doesnt have a good enough graphics card. Its only a 8mb graphics card.

Anyway last price at 40$, let me know if your interested otherwise do me a favour and shut ur trap!!!
