I played through the first boss. Its very different, but I like it. Not a lot of action until the boss (which was amazing), but the game is very...lucid. You get a real sense of desolation from the game's atmosphere. Not a lot of games feature huge, empty expanses with a lot of realism.

It's fucking hot, but it puts a serrrrrrious strain on the hardware.ICO is the best video game of all time.

is there stuff to do in between wandering to find bosses?is it very linear?like resident evil, for example

Theres a little stuff to do, but the settings are so well done and the music is good enough that travelling between bosses isnt boring.

do you have to engage in yorda management?

Renewing this thread. Hopefully more people've played it since this thread started. I'm really tempted to go out today and get this game. The video's I've found online look pretty dark and kickass. Worth the 40 bucks?

I started playing it and so far, I like it...although I wish there was a little more to do between fights. I have a demo disc you can have if you want to give it a test before you spend $40. It lets you play through the first colossus.[Edited on November 27, 2005 at 4:04 PM. Reason : a]
