dont make it look like a piece of shit like you did that altima, IE no supra spoiler and "chrome reflective tint." actually, now that i think about it, with your taste, its inevitable.

GSX... omg, I can't believe you did that. Sorry my friend, you made the same error that I did last year when I bought a GS. How much did you pay for it? I say get rid of it and buy a turboed one. I know plenty of 2g DSM's being sold that are nice as hell.

so how much do you thin the turbo would cost with everything for it?

isnt it cheaper to put a turbo that is better than the 1g in the gs-t?

youre going to blow a perfectly good motor

sell it and get a gs-t or gs-x or leave it alone is my advice

^ i really love the color on this car with the leather and dash board and all the features it has...i might do that but i have to finish the payments on this car first.

kits go from 2800 and up for 2g's. With stock NA motor, you're not gonna run a lot of boost. And if you think you can just and a turbo, think again. Thats why they sell kits, so you have everything you need. Just buying a cheap turbo isn't going to help as you'd need piping, new manifold, BOV, and so on. Even if you find all the stuff on ebay, it'll still cost atleast 1000, not to mention all the labor involved and if this is your 1st "project" car, your not gonna have that much experience in adding a turbo to a non turbo car without a kit or have someone else do it.

In that case, if you got it cheap, sell it for a good price, make some money, and buy a real turboed DSM. Check carolinadsm.com for more info you want. There are a few people on there selling 2g GST's or GSX's for around the 6 grand mark.

Atleast the GS is manual. But the engine is not the same in the NA vs the turboed DSM's.

whats the diffrence... i really tried to find out..and all i know is that the engine is put diffrently in the car gs and gs-t..but both are 2.0L engines with the same engine features and that one was built by mitsubishi and the other by dodge / chrysler (same parts though)?

FYI, the engine blocks may be the same, but the GSX more than likely has stronger/forged internals which would allow higher compression ratios so you don't blow the block. I like strokers though, (N/A inspired). But i felt like throwing in my $0.02.

A stock GS-T is going to be way more reliable than an N/A with a turbo kit.

tchenku pointed out what I was going to say. second gen NA dsm's have a 420a.. the same motor as a neon expresso/rt (dohc). there are some decent turbo kits for it, but they aren't cost/performance efficient. leave it stock or buy a turbo.

seriously that's a decent car down ruin it, buy a turbo dsm if you want. i bet that clutch wont be able to hold a turbo for long also that car is simply not built for a turbo dont do it unless you want to waste ur money

^ No way... I like it the way it is.

About buying a GSX or GS-T, I have been thinking about it and i went to couple dealers here in houston texas that i know, but i didnt see hard-tops / sunroof GS-T's with leather and white speedometer in the dash...they were convertibles, and plain looking from the inside. As for GSX, I loved it but the one i saw had an ugly color...dark purple...but iam really thinking about the GSX and not wasting money putting a turbo on this one, instead just trade it in or like someone said just sell it and buy the other...but that wont be anytime soon ( maybe next semster or two).

Thanks

obviously this has been answered by now, the turbos alone aren't the only difference in the turbo and NA version of this car. also, if you dont know where to start then seriously do yourself a favor (and the value of the car for that matter) and don't waste your time or money
