Ok, so I've been downloading the new season of Lost, since I don't pick up the channel real well, and am impatient to wait for the damn things to come out in a year on DVD. But my problem is, when I run the .avi files that they are formatted in (using Windows Media Player) they always fucking play with a green screen. Soundtrack is fine, I can hear that clearly, but what the bloody hell is screwing up the video to make it a solid green screen the whole time?!?

Try using Media Player Classic and the Defiler codec pack.
