I am truly amazed by this story:

how many miles are on it?

I could. Though it needs some work to get back on the road, I still have my first car, a '79 Chevy Malibu. It's been in the family longer than I've been alive (my grandfather bought it new in 1979). No intentions to ever sell/junk it, it's getting restored or at least made driveable again when I get a place where I have space to work on it.

Now I wish I hadn't junked the BlingmobileI want an article about me in hyper-newspaper or whatever they're using 77 years from now

I hope to be this guy someday. I plan to hold on to the Z-28 for as long as possible. Would like to be the ol' grandpa in the neighborhood still sporting a V8 convertible when gas costs like $10/gallon.
10/5/2005 8:06:12 PM
^ what in two years? try like $8.7 million per gallon when you're 80
10/6/2005 7:42:54 AM
haha...im pretty sure gas will be nowhere near as low as 10 bucks a gallon when your a ol' grandpa. It's already 5 in some places now....
10/7/2005 10:43:19 PM
i would hope in 50-60 years we wont still be dependant on gas
