I woke up yesterday and my computer was shut off. it would not turn on for awhile. when i finally got it on, i tried running aim and "My Documents" but the computer just stalled. while it was stalled, i checked the processes running and explorer.exe was using 99% of the CPU. i have scanned with symantec, spybot, and adaware(which stops halfway through the scan) in safe mode and nothing has been fixed. please, any ideas would be appreciated. i have torn up my keyboard already because i am so frustrated.

when you say "would not turn on for awhile" do you mean you pressed the button and nothing happened?Or did windows come up really slow?Clarification on that part might be important.if the computer wont power on after pressing the button its a hardware issue.
