All of a sudden I can't use Firefox on my computer. I open it, and my homepage loads. Then I get the dreaded message

"firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Internet Explorer still works, but I prefer Firefox.

I know this isn't a lot of information to go off of, but I would appreciate any advice as to what the problem might be.

as usual, the steps are:
make sure firefox.exe process is killed in task manager
uninstall (your profile will be saved)
download newest version, reinstall

Its because its an Apple.... oops, had to say it. Seems like thats the excuse for everything.
