go to henry's and have them fab you one.shouldn't be more than $300 for cat back.get your own muffler from advance and it'll be even cheaper.
9/27/2005 2:43:41 PM
^ he doesnt want to rice his shit out just a new muffler.
9/27/2005 2:55:18 PM
^ yea its the pipping underneath thats got holes...not the mufflerdo people call that whole assembly the muffler or ... ?
9/27/2005 2:59:33 PM

9/27/2005 4:47:26 PM
just take it somewhere and get them to get you a quote, shouldn't be much at most exhaust shops[Edited on September 27, 2005 at 5:32 PM. Reason : and good job not getting the ricer 'performance' exhaust, that shit is annoying]

call the dealer, you might be surprised by the price, you might not. but i know they used to be pretty fair. plus with OEM parts you can install yourself with hand tools. doing it the hard way would be to try and use the old bolts.
9/27/2005 7:57:07 PM
yea...it appears to be all bolts down there. i read that sometimes the metal is badly corroded and may need to be cut off...but i understand thats a maybeis there any other tool id need other then a socket wrench?
9/27/2005 10:00:02 PM

9/27/2005 10:07:57 PM
the dealer will bend you over if you try to get the parts from them.you can get them from advance. walker brand. not the highest quality, but it'll do.[Edited on September 28, 2005 at 2:10 AM. Reason : rockauto.com]
9/28/2005 1:43:04 AM
yeah, order the whole system from advance, and unbolt it at the manifold to replace it. its easier to do the whole damn thing if its in bad shape, and will probably cost you less than $200, instead of cutting splicing and nigga riggin, itll be a never ending cycle if you start now
9/28/2005 10:35:37 AM
wow a sub-200 dollar header-back (stock) exhaust from advance? that sounds pretty damn awesome..
9/28/2005 11:54:45 AM
it's about $160 total (cat back) at rockauto (with gaskets and shipping).i'm about to order the sytem myself b/c no one around here can do it for the same price.[Edited on September 28, 2005 at 3:50 PM. Reason : it'd be about $80 more for manifold back-reusing the cat.]
9/28/2005 3:49:14 PM
durrrrrrrrrr http://www.hondapartsonline.com is also about $160, free shipping too. thats for the intermediate pipe and the muffler (aka cat back), OEM HONDA PARTS, no bullshit. i doubt the dealer will be much higher, seotojam.[Edited on September 28, 2005 at 5:00 PM.
