waste of resources.

nothing necissarily wrong with it. but it's a waste of resources and could cause trouble with any number of things.I'd just stick with the NCSU one. Keep it updated, it'll do the job.

no need

Potential for trouble is high. Antivirus programs often fight with each other. I'd uninstall PCcilin and keep managed symantec.

Concurrently? Probably not. You can always keep a second one installed and run it every month or so ... I remember AVG would sometimes catch crap Norton didn't (that was awhile ago though).

Stick with norton installed. If you want a second opinion go to:http://housecall.trendmicro.com/You can scan your computer w/o installing a service that runs full time.

Do you still get updates for PC-cillin? Because PC-cillin is arguably better than symantec. If you haven't had any problems are were already running both then I wouldn't stop. But if you're wondering if you should install symantec too, then I would choose one or the other. Symantec especially tends to not play nice with other AVs. AVG for me though.
