I have a cousin in DC who always has a problem with his computer and he doesnt know anything and we always end up spending hours on the phone trying to fix the problemim looking for a free software that i can remotely control his computer and fix whatever i need toany suggestions, aside from google?

its called Remote Assistance, it's built into Windows XP.Use it.

Real or Tight VNCAnd mstsc/RDP/Remote Desktop ConnectionRDP/remote desktop is the fastest. imho

yea,http://www.realvnc.comyou'll have to walk your cousin through setting up the VNC server, but it's really simple

wow, im actually posting this message from one computer, through another computer's web browser. this is awsome. thank alot, this is gonna save me alot of headache.just one question though, is it really slow if one person is using dial up?

I haven't ever used it with dial-up, but it promises to be significantly slower. It'll still probably be usable - just not for long periods of time.
