ok my shit isn't working

my wireless router isn't even showing up and i've tried resetting it and all that good stuff

does it just not show up when the internet isn't working?

when you say "show up" i assume you mean that your wireless card on your laptop doesn't associate to it, correct?

Even if your internet connection is down, you should still associate and get an IP address from your wireless router.

Can you connect to it with an ethernet cable? Does that work?

Also, what kind of router is it?

most probably the radio is off.

Try connecting through an ethernet cable and check the settings. Routers don't just stop working.
