Frankly, I don't have to answer to any of you - as part of the ROTC, I really only have to do one thing - support and defend the Constitution. That's my real duty - everything else derives from that. Sure, I may not like what the President does, or what most of America does. But can I do a thing about it. No. So let me put in a sarcastic comment here and there. My comments were directed towards the OP.

I'll always support anybody in the armed forces because it is their job to carry out the orders of the president, etc. I wil, however, voice my opinion that we should get those people the fuck outta there sooner than later.

you obviously are new here, so let me make some things clear

1.) I most certainly did not elect george bush, and neither did half of hte country.
2.) If part of god's plan was one nation, under george bush, and everyone should support and trust him no matter what, god would have made america a dictatorship. YOu should give him a call and talk to him about that
3.) protesting the war does not hurt the morale of the troops with brains. My cousin is in the army, he went to iraq, and he's against the war and has protested it, so obviously it doesn't always demoralize the troops when you protest the war. Also, Maybe if they do get demoralized they'll all go home, where they belong.
4.) by "overthrow" the government, I was referring to elections. I don't know if you realize htis, but that's what voting is - peacefully overthrowing the current government. so "what army" would be the electorate. take a civics class

So, American troops are such wimps that they'll burst in to tears, throw down their weapons, and run away if they should discover that not everybody thinks the war in Iraq was a good idea. With armed forces like that, I'd have to say America poses no threat at all to anybody. Guess I'll need to reconsider my objections to the imperialist policies of this administration.
