opinions? bike has a slight miss/hesitation between 8-9k at wide open throttle. prefer to try a decent cleaner before tearing it down/pulling the carbs (and jetting them ).

The B12 Chemtool is some good shit.Give Techron a try.I ain't skeert o' bike carbs, Ivan, if you need a hand...though I suspect you probably don't!

3m fuel system cleaner.it's $10, but it'll fix fuel level (float) buildup issues, which no other product i've found does.seafoam deepcreep (aeresol version) works really well for carbs/but so does b-12 chemtool.techron ain't shit! from previous experience.

marvel's mystery

i've heard good things about the b-12. q45 guys swear by it to keep their delicate fuel injectors working. dan, i'm not scared of them... just rather take the easy way if i can plus i don't have a synchro tool. if they do end up needing work, i'll might hit you up though... my time is at a premium these days i believe it's probably a little buildup in one of the jets. minor problem whatever it is, runs beautifully otherwise and doesn't miss a lick even in that 8-9k range if you leave it just shy of WOT.[Edited on September 9, 2005 at 12:34 AM. is the one that STP makes any good?
9/10/2005 6:40:41 PM
Maybe the highly concentrated fuel system cleaner, but most of STP's stuff is crap.
